PATH's Cervical Cancer Prevention Action Planner

About the Action Planner

The Cervical Cancer Prevention Action Planner is an interactive tool designed for public health officials seeking guidance and resources for developing evidence-based cervical cancer prevention programs in their countries. The Action Planner includes video mini-lectures and other films, impact models, a vast library of useful information and resources, and the chance to design a personal action plan. The tool is available online and on CD-ROM.

The Action Planner is produced by PATH, with input and assistance from many partners including the World Health Organization, members of the Cervical Cancer Action coalition and cervical cancer experts from Africa, Asia, Latin America and other regions. PATH is an international nonprofit organization that creates sustainable, culturally relevant solutions, enabling communities worldwide to break longstanding cycles of poor health.

As an initiative of PATH's cervical cancer vaccine project, the Action Planner is funded through a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. No other sources of funding support this tool.

Version 1.0 of the Action Planner was finalized in February, 2010.
