About RHO Cervical Cancer

RHO Cervical Cancer is designed to provide easy access to science-based information for health program managers and decision-makers seeking to prevent cervical cancer in developing countries and low-resource settings. We are pleased to offer you some of the best cervical cancer information available worldwide.

RHO Cervical Cancer is produced by PATH. PATH is an international nonprofit organization that creates sustainable, culturally relevant solutions, enabling communities worldwide to break longstanding cycles of poor health. By collaborating with diverse public- and private-sector partners, PATH helps provide appropriate health technologies and vital strategies that change the way people think and act. PATH’s work improves global health and well-being.

The RHO Cervical Cancer website is an initiative of PATH's cervical cancer vaccine project and is supported through a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. No other sources of funding support this site.

Those familiar with the RHO website will notice a big difference in this site. Unfortunately, due to limited funding, PATH is no longer able to maintain the many different topic sections that were featured in the past. The good news is that we have support to make RHO an extensive resource focusing on cervical cancer:

  • The about cervical cancer section summarizes key information about HPV and cervical cancer, the state of cervical cancer screening and treatment, and the role of vaccination in cancer prevention.
  • The cervical cancer library contains many background papers, training and educational materials, and films and animations related to this important, and timely, topic.

The wide range of materials appearing on the site are offered by a variety of organizations at no cost to PATH or to our website visitors. RHO Cervical Cancer editors determine which materials are to be included in the site. If you would like to suggest that we add something, please contact us at rho@path.org.
